Ineas, Europe's first online insurer, printed a ShotCode on a Smart car allowing people to scan it in order to win the Smart. The personal information gathered for the sweep stake provided a unique database of mobile savvy individuals for their mobile insurance system.

Pervasive gaming

Interact with mobile phone users in a unique way. Pervasive Minesweeper used ShotCodes to change entire Manhattan city blocks into virtual minesweeper fields. The game worked just like minesweeper on your computer, it just took a bit of a run to come from block to block. The possibilities of pervasive gaming are literally endless.

Interactive seminars

When a seminar visitor leaves the seminar he or she usually forgets about 70% of the connections made. The majority of hand outs end up in the trash or in forgotten corners of cupboards. Holland Innovation and ShotCode provided a simple interaction system for seminar visitors allowing them to scan exhibitor ShotCodes using their own camera mobile phones making instant digital and personal connections that were simple to follow up. The costs to exhibitors and seminar organizers was negligible whilst still providing a substantial new connection channel.

Interactive packaging

Use your product's packaging to motivate resales. Coca Cola in Mexico printed ShotCodes on 40 million Sprite bottles. Scan the ShotCode to enter in a mobile sweepstakes and win Sprite related products such as movie tickets, DVD rentals and pizza's. With this campaign Coca Cola and ShotCode launched the worlds first large scale mobile tagging campaign.

Change any type of surface into a point of sale using ShotCode mobile tags. Nike in Brazil offered a unique Brazilian football jersey to patrons of up scale sports bars throughout Rio. Scan the ShotCode, fill in your personal information and instantly purchase the jersey (personalized with your own name). Needless to say, the jerseys sold out in no time.

Mobile content delivery

Making your mobile content available within one click, in stead of 60 or so clicks in a text message, is very simple. GetJar.com allowed visitors to download their mobile software directly to their mobile phones using ShotCodes. See a software title you like? Aim your ShotCode reader, click and the software is delivered to your phone. This website based solution has been a predecessor for delivering mobile software instantly using offline advertisements.

Build a unique relationship with your mobile audience. Volkswagen Italy launched a ShotCode campaign allowing consumers to book test drives for the newly launched Tiguan SUV. Consumers scanned the Volkswagen ShotCode and booked a test drive at the nearest Volkswagen dealer via the Volkswagen mobile internet site. A clear form of healthy pull marketing as Volkswagen customers freely provide booking information building a relationship with the Volkswagen brand.
